This internationally recognised NDT(USA) Certification Course (C/NDT) is based on current evidence in neuroscience, motor development, motor control and motor learning, including evidence for the validity and reliability of emerging research protocols.

These protocols incorporate:

  • quantitative and qualitative outcome measures,
  • can address the needs of heterogeneous population groups with diverse functional goals,
  • are sensitive to functional clinical changes following NDT intervention,
  • and permit research findings to be applied in everyday therapy practice settings.

The course curriculum incorporates a minimum of 261 hours of lectures, demonstration treatments, practical and clinical work. It will cover the basic content areas:

  • Neuro- motor control and functional performance: Assessment and intervention
  • Theories, frames of reference and models of functional performance and neuro-motor control
  • Functional performance and neuro-motor disorders: Clinical practicum
